White Zebra
Finches white zebra from two normal looking Zebras?

Hi I need a little insight into finches i find them very interesting although normal zebras i find hard to tell apart.. they all look the same although now they are breeding i am getting white zebras one with tear drops the other at this stage looks to be All White might be a bit early yet to tell… They are very pretty birds would that have come from their ancestors..? any advice grateful…Tania

With normal zebra finches males have an orange patch on their cheecks and females do not.

Becuase zebra finches are bred so often some colours seem to come from no where. It was probabily the case that some of your finches had different coloured parents and this has come out in the babies.

Hope this helps.
